How do I book a trial?

First, send us a message via our website or Facebook. We'll reply with all the relevant information, send payment details, and direct you to our enrolment form.
Once this is all completed, you're ready for your trial!

What should I wear to my first class?

New starters should arrive in something comfortable they can dance in, such as leggings/joggers and a t-shirt. Most classes can be done in bare feet or trainers to start with. Once settled, pupils should wear the Freesoles uniform. This is for both classes and exams.
Don't forget to bring a bottle of water!

Do we stay with the children?

You are welcome to stay while your little one settles in, whether that is in the studio with us, or out in the car park.
Once children are settled, it is beneficial for the parents to drop off and leave in order to remove distractions for all dancers in the class.

What happens on my first class?

Once you've enrolled and received all your joining information, we'll be waiting to welcome you for your first class. Please wait outside the building, and your teacher will pop out at the class to let everyone in.
We'll settle you in for your first session, introduce you to your teacher and the other pupils in your class. Then we'll start the dancing! All classes begin with a fun warm up to get you ready. In the main body of the class you'll learn new steps and some choreography, then we'll cool down at the end. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to raise your hand. We always encourage curious learning and we're happy to explain/demonstrate as many times as it takes for you to feel confident.

How much do dance classes cost?

Price depends upon the class length and venue. See our classes here for venues, timetable, and prices.

Where do I find Freesoles uniform?

You can find out what to wear and where to buy it on the uniform page of our website. All dancers must wear full Freesoles uniform to every class.

Where do I find Freesoles information/announcements?

All Freesoles grown-ups (parents/carers/adult pupils) are required to join us on Classlist.
In 2018 we did away with paper newsletters and info slips. These often got lost in the bottom of a dance bag or forgotten about on the kitchen noticeboard. Now, you can find all of our information on Classlist. Simply download the free app (or access via your browser), create an account, and join Freesoles Dance on there.
