Acrobatics

You can find us upside down!

Strength. Flexibility. Tricks.
Acrobatics is our floor-based gymnastics class for anyone who wants to get upside down.
Starting at age 4, we teach gross motor skills, balance, and coordination, right through to tumbles, aerials, and walkovers!
No matter your age or ability, we will help you become braver, bolder, and generally more upside down.

Aerial Hoop

Let's run away with the circus!

Our very own freestanding rig allows us to bring aerial hoop classes to Hessle Town Hall!
Taking pupils from age 9+, aerialists will build up the strength, stamina and flexibility, all while learning fun new moves. You'll learn how to mount and dismount the hoop, perform tricks, drops and rolls, and our aerialists even perform in our whole-school shows.

Young Dance Students

Baby Boogie

Your introduction to dance

Introducing your little ones to the world of dance through exploration, play, and movement.
Dancers aged 2-4 years are accompanied by a grown up who will help them walk, run, skip, jump, splash in imaginary puddles, crawl through the jungle, and pilot their own aeroplane!

Baby Boogie classes are always driven by fun, with a core of age appropriate activities rooted in a clear understanding of child development.

Ballet

Classical Ballet

Ballet is amazing for building strength, technique, and beautiful lines. Dancers start with a barre warm up for strength and technique building, then move away from the barre to work in the centre. Centre exercises improve balance and control, and then we move to grand allegro - this is the big exciting jumpy section!

Dancing Salsa

Ballroom & Latin

Thinks Strictly Come Dancing!

Another social class you can take at Freesoles is Ballroom & Latin. Have you ever watched Strictly and thought 'I wish I could do that'? Well now is your chance!
Taking pupils from age 8+, our Ballroom & Latin classes include lots of teamwork and dancing with a partner, as well as dances set for the stage.

This just-for-fun class is a no-pressure environment with no dance exams.

Theatre Craft

Performance

Fun and varied performance-based show dancing.

We follow the versatile IDTA syllabus which is full of musical theatre, pantomime, cabaret and commercial dance!

Theatre Craft is where we work on stage skills - projection, performance, and group work! Fun dances allow our pupils to show their personality through dance, expressing with creative movement.

Join Us Today

Follow the link below to book a three-week trial for just £15.

With no contracts and no obligation to join, you can come along, get a feel for the school, and see for yourself what our current pupils love about Freesoles Dance!

We offer a three-week trial because that's how long it usually takes for new dancers to settle into the school, feel comfortable, and make an informed decision about whether they would like to stay.
